the design concept for the pt. pesta pora abadi headquarters (mie gacoan) adopts an adaptive reuse approach through a facelift strategy applied to the existing building. this is reinforced by the addition of a secondary façade, integrated greenery, and the exploration of honest and expressive natural materials.

the new façade acts as an additional layer that not only establishes a strong visual identity but also creates a dynamic, lightweight, and industrial appearance, aligning with the brand’s bold and energetic character. greenery elements, in the form of climbing plants on the contrasting façade, enhance visual quality while passively improving thermal comfort.

overall, the design not only revitalizes the existing structure into a more modern and representative workplace, but also fosters a more vibrant, contextual, and character-rich working environment.
